Asian confinement lady for my pregnant wife

Hello people of Milton Keynes,
My pregnant wife and I are moving to Milton Keynes next month from Singapore and my wife will give birth to our son in May.
In Singapore, there is a service that you pay for where confinement lady comes and lives with you for a month and cooks traditional Chinese food and soups for the recovering mother.
Is there such a service in Milton Keynes?

Look up silent night nurses/nannies, basically what you want is a maternity nurse for the first few weeks.

From what I know about CC you won’t find a similar service in the uk following western services such as doula, maternity nurse etc. The culture is quite different.
If you have alot of money you can get a maternity nurse to help with baby but be aware of cultural differences with how you are going to look after the baby.
None of the western services are going to cook you food to the standard you expect but you will find that out when you get to England lol.
Maybe update your post with what you require - eg food, help look after baby, look after mother etc.
I’m sure if you ask in the Chinese community you may get links to people with the same culture.
Have you considered bringing someone over as I assume you will want them to stay with you?

I’m Chinese due in March living in MK. There is no local confinement service but you can find YueSao (stay home confinement nanny) online. The service they provide is very much hit and miss. It might be too late to book a good one at this point….
