In your honest opinion, who is worse-Beavis or Butt-Head? If so, why?

To be honest, they're both equally obnoxious and crude (BUT HILARIOUS)-- ( feel like Butt-Head is as he's older and is a little smarter than Beavis.

No doubt Butthead is worse. Beavis could be a normal loving guy without Buttheads influence over him.

I kind of think Beavis is worse. He doesn't seem to give two shits about Butt-Head (based on how he acted towards him in the episode "Choke"). And he even admits that Butt-Head isn't really his friend.

Also, in the episode "Madame Blavatsky", we learn that Beavis was actually labeled as a psychopath.

Then again, within older and newer episodes it shows that Beavis is an actual good person without the influence of Butt-Head

Butt-Head's a diagnosed self-admitted sociopath and he doesn't care.

From at least as far back as "It's a Miserable Life" to the new movie/seasons, Beavis would and currently tries to be a better person without Butt-Head as a bad influence on his life. Yes, he's a natural follower, but in the former case as Stewart's sidekick, he was helping in a soup kitchen and well-liked enough that both Stewart and the homeless people were protective of him. And of course, all the evidence that he has genuine mental illness and has been sexually abused by men though fortunately usually (barring one time he mentions "at least I got a candy bar out of the deal,") he's too oblivious to know what happened to him though he does recognize child molesters and has a tell-tale reaction to guys touching him.

Yikes, that’s pretty grim on that last point and I never made that connection. I thought he was just childishly homophobic the way teenage boys can be, it didn’t occur to me that it had such a sinister element to it.

Yeah, both the new and 2011 versions mention he's been drugged/knocked out by creeps, who implicitly "did things" to him that he fortunately doesn't realize.

They're in the same grade, so if one's older it's only by some months. (Beavis is probably a Sagittarius. Birthday in November or December. Not sure about Butt-Head.)

Butt-head actually enjoys hurting others — usually Beavis — who haven’t harmed him. He’s essentially a dumber less popular and uglier Todd.

Beavis has his own faults but doesn’t actively go looking to harm others. When he does, it almost always feels incidental and more “heh, heh, I was having fun, sorryaboutthat”.

That objectively makes Butt-head way worse in my mind.

Butthead definitely has those malicious tendencies. He’s a tiny bit smarter and more “there” than Beavis, but Butthead isn’t above hurting Beavis for his own cheap thrills. I think there’s a scene or a video they were watching when they used the word ‘sociopath’ and Butthead said “that’s what the school therapist says I am. But I don’t care” and that just sums it up really well tbh

Beavis might have become a decent person, albeit still incredibly stupid if it weren’t for Butthead.
