Overnight travel compensation for SysAdmin role?

I had a company's corporate recruiter cold call me about a job. The job is on-site locally, but the company has locations scattered across the country, and the job description said "up to 30% overnight travel".
I had to do quite a bit of driving for one of my previous jobs, sometimes two-hours each way. But I was paid hourly, and got reimbursed paid more than 50 cents per mile, plus food if it was more than an hour away, but it was never overnight. So I basically got paid to listen to podcasts those days.
I don't mind the occasional overnight road-trip within the region, but I don't want a job where they are sticking me on an airplane every other week.
The job seems interesting, but I really don't want to travel. So I'm tempted to give them a "F-off price".
But those SysAdmins who travel a lot for work: How are you compensated for overnight travel? and how should somebody negotiate their compensation if they might be required to travel a lot?
