I feel its the opposite. The older I get the less I care about trivial stuff, and the more I have an understanding that people make mistakes, stuff often does not matter as much as we think, and making an issue out of minor inconveniences to me could be a major inconvenience to the poor sod I am complaining about.

When you're younger you make more mistakes, you're not sure how things should be, and you might feel inferior/like an impostor. So you might be more forgiving to others making mistakes or you don't feel like you deserve to kick up a fuss.

People make the same mistakes that you have seen a thousand times. You'd think by th 1001th time you see it, they should have known better. But also some people just want to complain to grasp back some certainty in their lives or authority. The older you get, the more authority you might perceive yourself to have or should have.

To a certain extent I think it's a confidence issue arising from having enough accrued experience to be less likely to give a shit. When you're young and inexperienced you're less willing to speak up but then you reach a point where you're like "Fuck it".

I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore!  Rent is going up all the time. Food, cars, houses, and utilities are all much more expensive. Products and services are drastically declining in quality. The job market is broken. The NHS is being dismantled from the inside out.  I'm fucking sick and tired of being treated like a fool.
