Women of the UK, have you bought clothes from Cider?

So I tried once just a few weeks ago and I ended up cancelling my order. I noticed my package still was not shipped after like five days so I contacted them. They then let me know the PayPal hasn’t cleared the funds so they are awaiting on that and I should contact PayPal because it’s an issue with them. I called PayPal and the advisor I spoke to was super nice, she let me know that it was not typical practice for a business to wait for the pending tag to change to completed before sending a product. She told me how they accepted confirmation to be credited the money by PayPal and that should’ve been more then enough reason for Cider to send out my order. Then the advisor asked if I knew this was coming from china and that the PayPal name was not in-fact Cider but a different Chinese name. I started getting apprehensive about my order and the PayPal advisor could tell. I straight up asked her if this seemed shady to her? She laughed but did tell me that this was not normal procedure and encouraged me to cancel my order if I was not feeling good. Seemed like she also got sketched out. I tried explaining the PayPal thing to cider support but it just went in circles with them just sending me screenshots of my PayPal order - saying the pending tag has to go away. After some back and forth where it seemed like they didn’t really read my responses and things not going anywhere, I just ended up cancelling my order. Bit bummed since I see online so many people had such good experiences but I guess it just wasn’t in the cards for me. Hope things go well for you if you choose to order.
