going on 24 hours now. strategically moving domains that need updates to Route 53 in AWS.

confirmed via chat that they've received reports of entered DNS records not propagating. also, saw mention of this in their twitter replies. no ETA to resolution.

a few changes i made monday finally went through last night and i was able to propagate other changes i made this morning. confirm via nslookup the changes you're making are hitting the authoritative nameservers.

I made the mistake of deleting mine from Monday night on Tuesday morning before checking around to find out they were having some kind of issue and it wasn't just something I had done wrong. So my latest changes were entered Tuesday morning and I'm waiting them out. We have been checking the ns35 and ns36 authoritative servers. Thanks for letting us know that yours did come through from Monday, gives me some hope.

their support is all but useless, giving the stock answer of "dns propagation takes 24-48 hours" yet not acknowledging that if the change doesn't make it to the authoritative server it will never propagate! the good news is i was able to switch a few domains over to Route 53 on AWS and those changes went through within 2 hours or so, which may be an option for you if you don't want to wait on them.

This happened twice to us and then I moved everything away from them. Moved it all to Route53

yeah its one of those things like... if it isn't broken don't fix it... then its broken and its like... yeah but nothing really bad happened so why take on a potentially impacting project for very little gain.... then the whole thing will come crashing down and its like... why didn't we do this sooner.

So glad I moved everything away from them. Are they still sending little to nothing in the way of incident notifications, updates, and post-incident root cause analysis? Sorry about your Monday!
