Question for pilots: would an AI be helpful in an emergency?

How would pilots feel about having an emergency AI available to summon? At minimum to call out the specific checklist, and beyond that to review all information and be able to respond to questions from the flight crew, or to verbalize what it sees and to be able to offer a recommendation if asked.
I would like to think that there will always be a place for the ingenuity and capability of humans on the flight deck, but there presumably will come a point where AI would be a critical onboard virtual engineer, supporting the team and providing timely input.
