Towards the end of 1993 (Christmas Eve when his body was found), people have been suspected and even arrested but nobody charged. Have been looking through various North East publications for the last day or two and have been reading archived pieces on internet libraries. Have been looking into a few of the suspects too in different books (because some of the suspects have been suspected in more than one crime).
If you’re interested in looking it up it’s the unsolved murder of Paul Logan from Consett, if you type either that or “Paul Logan Shotley Bridge” you should get some news articles about it. X
I’m vice-chair of a theatre group in my town. We just finished performing The Addams Family, I played Uncle Fester, and I’m currently preparing to write and direct our upcoming panto, Cinderella.
Amateur radio... I like to go portable with it all in a backpack. Go walking out in the countryside, to the beach, up a hill and set up and talk to random people around the world for a few hours.
Unfortunately it has a somewhat deserved reputation of being an old folks hobby however following some changes in how you get your licence, basically so you can do it online instead of through a club and if you're already from a technical background can go straight to advanced, more young blood is coming in.
I’m pretty thick when it comes to all of this so this might also be a thick question but av always considered listening to things like this though the night. Do you know how I’d go about them? Am honestly not even sure where to look.
You can do listening with a web browsers. www.websdr.org. [Try this one.](http://sdr.websdrmaasbree.nl:8901/) You'll need to click the audio start button on the top left to get the audio.
The frequencies are split up into bands, different bands work differently according to time of day. 160m, 80m, 40m are evening and night time ones, 20,17,15,12,10m daytime although at this time of year you'll hear people from northern and southern Americas all through the night on 20m. Australia is good from around 7 to 11am.
/r/amateurradio is a good sub. Mostly US centric when it comes to advice about licencing etc but there's a few Brits in there and a lot of the more experience US hams know about our licencing etc.
Cooking, board games, music, manga, anime, video games, make up, painting, plants, mixology, fashion, pub quizzes, darts (only for fun not actually any good at it) and cycling
