Hello!

I am currently planning to move to the UK from Germany , and although I leave the majority of my household here, I do want to bring things that are valuable to me.

Now, hiring a moving company is tooexpensive for the few cartons that I will pack, then again, its too much to bring in a suitcase.

Does anybody have any other Idea except shipping them? (or at least cheap shipping) I looked at DHL options, but they are around 60-70 Euros per Carton...it they are under 31kg I cannot pack and check the weight yet, that's why I wanna explore other Options. DHL offers a Savers-Pack for 10 packages under 31kg for around 600+ and DHL Express for Bulky 31kgt packages but all of it seems so expensive.
Even more so because customs will also want their prices paid.

Also I am trying to find out if I can ship my two little (literal) tiny cacti. I don't know whatspecific species they are, but I know they are from a local simple store (trust me they are sentimental to mel)
I don't think they are anything exotic. DHL on their website doesn't state that you cant ship plants (on their "Do not ship"-Pamphlet) and DHL customer service wasn't sure either and said it probably will be fine if its not on the Pamphlet Then again, googling says I need a certificate (that would cost me 80+ Euros) but that only is for mildly risk assertive plants starting at the end of this month.
Their list is said to be incomplete. ..which doesn't help me either.

I also have three broken Laptop and some old phones I never got around to getting repaired and restore the data, and since I am moving my life over there I do wanna take them with me to try someday, but DHL only allows two electronics to be shipped in a carton/per day, and I am notsure why...but on the other hand the phamphlet says no lithium batteries so that just makes me more confused because they contain lithium batteries?

And my last question is that have the Manhunt game, and I heard its banned in the UK, so is it

impossible to import too? I aalso have some knives from my grandma, and I am guessing even as a collectors item/family heirloom its impossible to get over there then?

(Also I am severly downsizing, its just clothes (heavy coats, consoles, PC and stuff that cannot be too easily replaced)
