Changing O365 Group Email?

Hey all, As part of a rebrand, I've been asked to change the domain name of a group email from xyz@111.com to xyz@222.com It's an internal 365 Group, not a mailbox and it's for internal use so no emailsare sent to it from outside the network. Can I change the domain, or am I better off creating a new group with the @222.com domain?

That's where i want to do it from. Will it break the group? I'm concerned about adverse effects.

I have done it before and it works. The only issue is that things that connect to it automatically that are not inside the MS environment may still try to reference the old login. You can keep the old email address as a alias (it does this by default)

Long term, everyone will have the @222.com domain address and anyone we find with a @111.com will be moved. Would updating tha primary email be appropriate for that? Any side effects to be aware of?

The most reliable way of doing this will be through `Set-UnifiedGroup` in ExOL PS.

In my humble opinion it's better to create a new group yes it's more time but less error prone
