The animator is named Ralph Bakshi. he did some amazing work, but a lot of his catalog can be off-putting to modern audiences. examining racial stereotypes the way he did just isn't done today. And then they became animators, character designers, and sometimes....creative directors. There's a documentary somewhere where they interview a few of these guys, now in their 80s, happily admitting all of this.
