What are this year's cough/cold/flu symptoms?

After 7 days, have sprained muscles coughing and can't even swallow. Can't sleep. Can't eat. Still awful. Was told by GP to 'Tough it Out' and that some people have seen it persist up to 6 weeks! Not COVID though. That wasn't as bad.

I've been bad for a week, peaked a couple of days ago. Negative covid test. I've just felt fuzzy headed, tired, coughing up green in the mornings, sore throat, just a general malaise that comes with a bad cold. Covid was definitely worse, and I've had the flu before and thought I was going to die. Wish this would piss off though, just about OK to work but I've had a couple of days just in bed.

Eurgh I'm on day 4. Can't sleep, can't breathe, coughing my guts up, sneezing repeatedly. Hot and cold. Pointless going dr as I'm on a lot of antibiotics for my prostate already

Have a hug. I find my temperature made its mind up on day 6 and breathing steam and menthol gives some relief. I just came off antibiotics, which made me itch all over for two weeks, so I feel pretty much hated by the world.

I'm on my 3rd month of antibiotics for chronic prostatitis that makes my skin burn even in winter sun.... could have done without this awful cold too

The same as every year. Except there are reports of people growing a third ear but there's a vaccine for that.

Yeah pretty much every adult I know has been ill for like a month. Including myself. Not been to the gym. No energy amd lethargy. Generally cold symptoms. It's just lasted forever. Hang in there mate, hope you feel better soon

Bugger. Reassurance denied. Both me and my manager are off at the same time with it, and there isn't anyone to cover our work. They don't do 'shadowing' very well at my 'lean workplace', so I am cancelling all our clients all over the place. One rang me in bed and I just painfully wheezed at them down the phone.
