Hi, i was just wondering if anyone knows a good hairsalon or barbershop that cut asian's hair good (i mean that they are familiar with it and know what kind of styles they like)

I recommend Fruzsi who works at Taboo Salon in the 6th district.

I mean, whats the difference between asian and europian hair? Am i missing something? 😃

Long story short it's thicker and a bit stronger than ours (caucascians). Also they usually wear different haircuts than europeans

I thought that the Styles are different, but i think a good hair dresser could do anything and its not depends on your hair type.A sharp scissor is a sharp scissor non the less. But idk, seemingly I dont know shit about hair types 😅

A sharp knife is a sharp knife yet you dont filet a fish and a chicken with the same technique. Asian hair structure(I am mostly talking about far east asian people) is different both in texture and in biological structure. For example asian hair holds pigments in layers where european hair has none (this is why we have semingly black hair, even though it is just multiple layers of brown) This pigmental difference makes all the experience in bleaching and coloring european hair quite unreliable; the required chemicals and methods for coloring asian hair are just simply different. There are various weird differences at different lenghts as well. At 2-5 centimeters our hair points outwards for some reason, which makes a lot of european hairstyles look bad on us. Most european people dont have this pointiness only below 2 centimetres. And we also tend to lose a lot of volume when it is grown out longer. Also, haven't you noticed that most asians have very straight hair compared to caucasians? People always ask me if I iron my hair, but it's just naturally straight.
Our head and face ratios and types are also different, making general rules of thumbs in hairdressing in europe not applicable to most of us. Different archetypes of facial structure require different styles, and different experiences, most of which european barbers do not possess.
A good hair dresser knows which hair type is the one they are the most skilled at cutting. There are literally specialized hair dressers that are the only ones to know how to handle extremely curly hair. Or ones who specialize in either male or female haircuts. Or ones who handle Indian or Middle Eastern hair well, just like how there are those who have experience in cutting East Asian hair. Trust me, there is a noticable difference, and I never really had a fitting hairdresser in Hungary, maybe except for one. despite the fact that I have been living here for 25 years.
