I hated bread for five years because of that thing.

In sixth grade it was my responsibility to start the bread maker every day when I got home from school. In retrospect, I don't know how we all weren't 400 pounds from eating all that bread.

I like how the mixer gets baked into the bread, then you have to pull it out, and the first few slices have a hole in the middle!

There's a way around that, if you are around while the machine is working. After the last knead you can reach in and remove the mixer paddle and then just leave it to do the final rise and bake.

Well my mom and grandma definitely didn't do that.

I've never used one of these, but my ex's dad was really into his. Like he had a whole wall of different grains in his kitchen that he would mill and make into various types of bread.

The food dehydrator worked really good. I bought one used at a yard sale like 10-15 years ago and still use it. I actually used to grow mushrooms in early 2000’s and used it to dry them.

We absolutely had one of these! My dad bought one and used it approximately one time. Same as the juicer he bought.

We tried so hard to like that thing... But the bread just wasn't really that great.
