Has anyone noticed there’s a weird trend with guys aged late 20s/early 30s who seem to think everyone is an idiot except them?

Maybe it’s just because I’m currently in this age group that I’m noticing this, but I’m not originally from the uk. A lot of guys who figure out I’m from the US almost always without fail ask why I moved to England. Over the course of the conversation they end up talking about how they want to move abroad and work freelance. Seriously 9/10 guys seem to have this mindset. The issue is 9/10 of them are either still living at home or with roommates and just do not have the skillset to land the jobs they think they deserve. Most of them also seem to have a huge ego and feel like their lack of professional success has everything to do with factors outside their control and nothing to do with them. Has anyone else noticed this?
