What's it like to move from a small town to a big city?

It was fine as the people of London spoke the same language and used the same currency. The general organisation of the week and Bank holidays were the same standard and as my bank operated in both parts of the country I didn't need to change. Didn't need to change passport though a Northumberland bus pass does not work in That London. Didn't need any plug adapters or to worry about phone roaming charges and they drive on the same side of the road. God send! They do have chuffachufs that go underground that are often referred to as "The Underground" or "The Tube." I had been exposed to underground trains "The Metro" in Newcastle. Having lived in the country I never felt the need to go and visit it in my youth and this very much continued in That London. Similarly I never visited any Michelin starred restaurants in Northumberland and again that continued to not happen though it was a relief to see my local cuisine was represented as Gregg's is universal. There were people with funny voices who looked a bit different but having watched TV and films I knew that people from Essex and also different skin colours existed. I quickly learned not to use the term "blackamoor" as I had never used it as it's not the 18th century and I'm not a daft racist. I'd say that the only difference was I got a partner to do the sex with and marry who has Jamaican heritage because it was white as fuck in The 'Peth.
