Talented Musicians: I'm putting a band together

Hey y'all, I'm looking to put a band together! I am a song writer, producer/composer, recording and mixing engineer. I'm looking for skilled musicians (guitar, keyboard/piano, base, drummer) who want to start creating original music with the aim of going on the road and performing all over! I have had music featured on TV, currently have a song on TV for a pro wrestlers entrance theme and have created albums as a solo artist. Now I want to expand and do something different. I work really in a genre fusion style, mixing rap, rock, metal, rnb, punk, and whatever else I feel like. Ideally I'd love to create a whole new sound! Not primarily a musician but a Studio/FOH sound engineer and If you need a recording/rehearsal space I run a studio just outside Milton Keynes here: www.delayhaus.com I’ve been a vocalist in punk bands in the past but am now more about drum/synth programming and do a lot of Dub mixing too with analogue delays/reverbs and the console. Down for doing some of that with vocals. Studio also has every keys option going!

Thanks for responding. Your studio looks great! Are you interesting in getting involved with the collective, working on this new sound, being a part of it or are you just showing the services you offer, for customers?

I think both in a way. I’ve been in bands and I’ve got skills and gear to offer both musically and technically. Would love to get involved musically but also it would be a great way to connect with the local scene; I tend to work with musicians and artists from London or LA on remote work so getting involved with the MK and surrounding music scene world be great. If the studio becomes a hub for this then the reach further helps connect musicians in a creative space then it’s a win win for everyone.

Awesome! I really enjoy metal guitar, and funk and bluesy is also great! Like I said, I'm all about fusion, and finding something new and unique. This sounds great. Definitely let's get to the point where we have a jam and see how it all clicks.

I'm a musician as well but I don't have the free time at the moment to pursue another band. If you don't get too many responses here I'd definitely recommend checking jam sessions/open mics around mk. There's some pretty good talent at these places.

Ahh that question 😂 So I'm best on guitar but it bores me, I have the most fun on drums but don't practice enough so piano/keys and sampler I guess is the answer lol I dunno man, I quite like the idea of doing gigs looping and swapping around kind of like lemon jelly, that's always a good show! I'm chill to be honest I'm happy to just be fluid and see what works
