eli5 -- how to bring firearms stored in cases unused for 15+ years back into use

Basically the title. I have a few firearms (1911pistol, semi auto shotgun, and AR) from my dad when he passed away a few years ago. I've since become more interested in firearms and am planning to get some private instruction in the next few weeks with these specific firearms so I can start to train w them and maintain them properly. None of these firearms have seen heavy use. The shotgun is completely disassembled (stock, short and long barrel, handguard) and was last used for a hunting trip in 2001, from what the luggage tag on the case tells me. I assume the 1911 and AR have been sitting unused since before 2001. Everything was in a soft case (shotgun was in a hard travel case) and its free from dust/rust/ etc from being store indoors. Is there anything I should do to prep these firearms for use? Or should I simply CLP everything after my training day? I'm especially curious about treating the wood on the remington shotgun stock and handguard, as well as all the internals, of course, of all the firearms that have been sitting for decades. TLDR - firearms sitting for 15-20+ years indoors look virtually brand new -- ready to shoot or should they been cleaned/lubed first? Anything I should/shouldn't use on the wood stock/handguards? Completely unnecessary? Thanks
