CA CDL A PERMIT TEST

How many questions are on each test? Some people have been telling more than 40 and some say around 20? Any tips you guys could give me as well.

You'll likely have to take multiple tests. like 12inchpickle said; General knowledge is \~50. My doubles/triples test was like 15 questions, Air Brakes was maybe 20-25, Combination was maybe 20, Tanker was like 15 at most.

50 general knowledge. Either 20 or 25 I can’t remember for both combination & 20 air brakes.
