How do you deal with the fact you have to work for a living, and the psychological pressure of that?

It's not the actual work I mind, I don't mind my job tbh. But the fact that I am reliant on working for a living, and the shit that I would be in if it all went wrong, weigh on my mind basically constantly. I can only ever seem to save up one month's wage before some kind of life happens. I can't imagine what it would be like to not be entirely financially dependent on your job and to have some mental space from that. How do you make peace with it?
