How long does a council 114 notice last?

Just wondering really, never hear about an end date. Is there one? Can it last forever, a decade? How does it end for these councils? Thanks

There isn't an end date, it is pretty much, we can't afford to operate we need help till we sort it out

It isn’t a quick process, neither is it simply a hack and slash of services. The process takes around three years to complete, depending on root issues.
