Does anyone remember this crime tv show?

My wife and I are trying to remember a murder mystery tv show we watched a few months back, probably early 2023. It was a bit retro, 1930s or so, and involved a mystery writer, like a male Agatha Christie. I don't want to put too many details in case it spoils it for others.
