So natural selection works from every angle. Rape (as macabre as it sounds) gives the opportunity for those selected against to pass on their traits anyways. So technically, rape is advantageous for those who get zero bitches (like yourself), explaining why there are pressures in favor of its practice. Now, idk about you, but overpowering a woman isn't exactly something I would consider an overly impressive feat for any man, so I wouldn't immediately think "being strong" would apply to a man who is successful in this attempt (especially since all you need is a good club and the element of surprise). Still, the fact that women are choosy in today's society is a holdover from how they were when we were in our ooga booga hunter gatherer phases and thus supports the implications that being selective is important to pass on more desirable traits for their offspring (seeing as they have a limited window and amount of times in which they can reproduce, what with gestation taking 9 months and menopause and all that). Men need not worry about this as they stay fertile well into their winter years (by and large) and need not be incapacitated for months on end following a successful attempt at reproduction.
