Product recommendation to restore gloss shine to leather dash area

Looking for a product recommendation to restore a gloss shine to the leather to the right of the cupholders. I'm guessing the previous owner must have spilled something that removed the finish on the leather.

Leather should not be glossy

The only reason why leather goes glossy is because of the oil in your hands (which may be caused by the fact that I eat Popeyes too much).
However, nappa leather (especially on steering wheels) is even worse, it turns shiny quickly even on new cars like the Renault Austral.

It’s a personal preference

It’s also the reason yours is delaminating the protective cover and looks awful. Stop putting garbage chemicals in it and it will last longer. Healthy leather has a matte/satin sheen even when conditioned. Clogging the pores in leather with greasy coatings, body oils, dirt etc leads to premature wear. You are essentially saying that your personal preference is to prematurely degrade the product and that’s lmaoey.
Also, FYI: this is NOT real leather. Treat vinyl appropriately as well, which this is.

I just bought this vehicle and the vinyl came like this. I’m just trying to restore the finish so it matches what the rest of the vinyl looks like that is still in good condition.

I didn’t downvote you. Okay hoss.

Leather comes matte from the factory. If it's glossy that means it's either dirty, or covered in oils which will break it down over time.

Personally I’ll go for a matte finish. Leather doesn’t come glossy from factory. I’ll use a chemical guy leather cleaner and microfiber to deep clean and just condition it with Swissvax leather milk.

Car Bright or 3M offer great Vinyl and Leather Conditioners that bring back the gloss and give a clean look.
