Over the counter sleeping aid that actually works?

Been having some trouble sleeping due to a recent break up (trying to get used to sleeping alone) and wondered if there was anything that people have had good experience with before and could recommend? Something that I can get from Boota or Superdrug etc without needing to visit my gp. Thanks in advance

The Antihistamines that don’t say “non-drowsy”, antihistamines make you sleepy normally so they put caffeine in it. I was recommended Benadryl when I was have trouble sleeping. Bonus - you basically cannot overdose on antihistamine. You can't overdose easily as in cause permenant issues, but if you take a bunch of diphenhydramine (In nytol) and then deliberately keep yourself awake, you can hallucinate. Often it is lots of spiders, but generally it is not-fun creepy shit.
