Is Enterprise Car Club worth it?

Over the next few months I’m gonna need access to a car for maybe 3-4 days per month, but buying one isn’t practical right now. I’ve heard Zipcar is good but they don’t seem to operate in the city I’m moving to.
Someone recommended Enterprise Car Club, it seems to have membership of £7 per month and then daily rates of £41.95 or hourly rates of £5.20 on top of that.
Does this seem like a good deal? I’ve never rented a car in the U.K. before, and am not sure if it’s any cheaper doing it this way than just renting a car the normal way. Also I’ve read reviews saying they have shitty customer service and it’s difficult to cancel your membership, does anyone have experience of this?

Definitely not. They just took me to court and they lost as they tried to pin me for damages to a car that I was not informed of. The judge threw out and they are very dangerous company and you can find out more about my case by going to Justiceforyasmin.co.uk because there are many other reasons why I’m having to do this website by the way because I’m so sick and tired of the greed and corruption I’ve seen.

my partner has been fined £1k for a scratch he’s not responsible for which was discovered FOUR DAYS after he returned it in perfect condition. He was such a loyal customer. Now they have lost our custom which loses them so much money in the long run. The letter they sent went to spam which he didn’t find in time. It’s deeply disappointing and we have no idea where to find the money. He always looked after their vehicles so carefully. Our local Brighton branch of Enterprise have always been so helpful and we had a great relationship but now we will not be able to use their services because we’ve been treated appallingly. DON’T use this service.

I used to work in transport management for a well known parcel company, and our head office would occasionally hire vans from these cowboys.
They'd handover vans without a spare wheel, inflation kit or jack, then when handed back, would charge the company thousands of pounds for missing spare wheels and jacks.
If I ever have to use this company, I take pictures of literally everything before they hand me the keys, and on return before I hand them the keys over.
Ended up with a car with them through a third-party insurer and I made the Enterprise team aware from greeting them that I know what they do and all their tricks in the book. Funny, the manager kept ringing me at 7/8pm at night asking me how everything was and if I needed anything

I just passed my test recently and use it just to drive for pleasure / the odd trip to a supermarket. As I am in London it works out miles better value than a car and insurance. Generally speaking if you want to rent for a day / are doing long trips using a company for rental is better over a car club. They are more suited to shorter trips. The other downside with them is you need to return them to the same place you got them from so can’t do one way trips etc. You pay based on car size, time of day and a mileage fee as well so the true cost is not really what they advertise

I know you answered this 3 years ago but if I drive from my house to work (3 miles) and then home do I have to pay for the car during my shift as it’s not in the same location?? Thanks in advance dude
