Enterprise prices are bs

We go through a whackton of storage every year. I have one app alone which grows by ~4TB/FY. We're working on a purchase of a couple additional 8TB flash modules for a Dell blade and they're dragging $30K out of us for it. This problem is endemic to the entirety of the enterprise realm, tech as a whole but less so on the consumer side. I realize there is validation which happens on the enterprise side which does account for some of the cost but when I see earnings reports with hundreds of millions to billions of PROFIT and million dollar c-suite bonuses I can't help but feel like we're taking it in the poop chute from multiple parties. So, either someone needs to call them to account or make them explain why the same part number, new in box, can be had from a reseller for $1780 but Dell gets to charge $15K/ea. Am I out of my mind?
