Last time I got £12 off I thought I'd have a look. After service charge and delivery, it became £6 off. That was enough to make me want to never use it. Most restaurants have their own Web sites now. Plus any 40% off was never in my area

I think they do it to entice new customers in and then slow it down. I used to get 60% off codes which I used to stock up on biscuits because it worked out cheaper than buying them in person

I get them all the time because I moved to a place that doesn't have uber eats. If you stop ordering, they send you discounts to hook you back in. Why give you money off if you're already a loyal customer?

In fairness I've not ordered from Uber since because they are that much more expensive for convenience of delivery. My local takeaway is 40% less if I just call and collect (5min drive). Plus I know then all money going to them

Yeah I mostly just order directly from takeaways now! The only positive I find about Uber compared to ringing directly is I get a very quick refund if needed and I also don’t necessarily have to speak to anyone lol

Ubeteats can suck my balls. I ordered once and the pizza turned up an hour late and cold. I reported and they knocked off about 40ish% off the total. Somewhat ok. Order a few kebabs and a bottle of drink a week later. Driver turns up without the drink. I report it, and call the driver. Driver says he will return with it. He doesn't The report comes back and says because I already got money off the prev ordered pizza, they aren't refunding anything for the missing drink even though the Driver admitted he didn't bring 2 bags. The food through there is 20% higher than in the actual store and the drivers almost eveytime are low iq numbnuts that don't give a shit

Last time I ordered Uber Eats I got the most ridiculous driver who refused to hand over my second order (two orders, one coffee, one grocery) because my grocery order had two bags and therefore that was my two orders. He stood in front of my house for an hour refusing, demanding the code for the second order so he could leave. I shut the door, contacted support and after an actual hour they got someone to translate. By that time my coffee was and food was cold, and Uber still charged me and expected me to be thrilled with this service. Since then I've been deluged with 40 per cent off vouchers but I'll never use them again. Horrible little company.

Yeah during covid I had frequent offers (£10/15 off) making it like £5 for a meal including delivery was brilliant. I stopped getting that a while ago and now the odd one comes like 40% off grocery shopping which is a fucking ripoff anyway who would buy their weekly shop off ubereats.

I receive discount codes all the time for 40% off my next 5 orders (from selected restaurants…). It’s worthless. They exclude restaurants you order from regularly and the restaurants that are included are rubbish. I don’t even redeem the codes anymore because it’s a waste of time.
