Who has the shutters env to work in

I will start. I work in pharma. It is a nightmare. Machines with 4gb ram running Windows 10 because the app will crash if more memory is put in. Machines running XP but are connected to a multi million dollar instrument. The vendor has no competition so they never upgrade. Ah we just put it behind a firewall. Strict change control so I have to create a change and get it approved weeks before it is gonna be implemented but... Some idiot with local admin rights who knows nothing can do what he wants and nobody will stop him. Zero accountability for users. Managers that are useless. Never reply or authorise, join meetings and bullsh1t, throw people under the bus every day, think they know tech and mess and break stuff. But the money is mega. Like twice what I was on elsewhere. Anyone have it worse?
