Is UK still culturally influential in the 2020s?

My question basically boils down to: does cool shit happen in the UK? In America, for example, you have all kinds of people, from rural southerns to New York. You have the financial hub in New York, Tech in Silicon Valley and Hollywood. Overall, it seems like USA has MAJOR inlfuence oved the world.
In comparison, what influence does UK have over the world, financially, in tech and most importantly in the new global social media culture.
