I unexpectedly saw my deceased colleague and I’m finding it hard to process. What practical advice can you give me to better cope with the stress?

One of my direct reports died last week in very traumatic circumstances - as their line manager, I went and offered my condolences at the family home and offered financial support on behalf of the company. When I arrived at the house, I met the family as planned and on the way out, the family unexpectedly took me via the back room where my colleague was laid to rest in an open coffin. I quietly paid my respects and said a prayer. This was my first time ever seeing a deceased person and given the nature of the death, I found it extremely traumatic coming face to face with my colleague who did not look like the colleague I spent thousands of hours with over the past few years. I raised this with my manager today and it got laughed off and I got given our EAP details. Since visiting the house, I have really struggled with flashbacks of seeing the body, nightmares and generally being very anxious. Over the last few nights I have also wet the bed and had a few panic attacks - I have never experienced this before. I have never quite felt like this before and would appreciate some advice or guidance on how to cope better going forward.
