Did you receive a challenge acknowledgement on a PCN fine?

I got a PCN and challenged it just a week ago. However I haven't received any acknowledgement through E-Mail or post yet. Just making sure this is normal or not normal? I don't want to assume that my challenge was received when it wasn't. Thanks very much.

Usually there's a telephone number you can call to check if the challenge has been received. Usually it can take 2-3 weeks for PCN challenge to be dealt with.
I always check my challenge email [or letter] has been received, it makes sense.

How long after you challenged the PCN online did you give them a call? I challenged one yesterday but feel it's too soon to give them a call?

Wow it's been 3 years already. I don't really remember but by going off this post, I mentioned I logged it a week before this post so I assume I would have called between 1-2 weeks. Shame I cannot see the exact dates of my post and comment. One day after the challenge is probably too soon but that's just me.

Just seen this - tho you're replying to OP's post...don't have to accept the denial of your challenge, you can contact them and ask why your challenge was denied, and they have to say exactly why.
If the reasons they give are - to be honest - fair and legal, then you'll just have to accept it. If however, they haven't actually addressed the main points of your challenge - and you think your challenge is still fair - email them again. Citizens Advice Bureau [free] can help with this.
On the other hand, it's only £35, is it worth it? Maybe it's a 'fair cop'!
