Feeling very lost right now

Hey guys, recent grad here I got my Class A CDL last monday. I'm 23 years old and I've applied to absolutely every job possible and I've been looking more into doing local or jobs where I'll be home daily or atleast 3-4 days out of the week if I can't do food service. My main goal was doing food service or drink delivery considering I've never been a big fan of sitting still for hours at a time and I overall just prefer very labor intensive jobs. The Sysco, US Foods and Gordon Foods around me hires recent grads but for some reason they all rejected me (?) I'm thinking maybe they want people with more experience so I was wondering if being a yard jockey would count as tractor/trailer experience? Though, I recently got hired at an HVAC/plumbing supplies company where I'll be driving a class B straight truck and it's just 40 hours a week. I figured having some sort of CDL experience may help but I really don't know what food service companies think about having only straight truck experience. I just feel very lost now considering the industry I wanted to work for rejected me. Should I stick with this job for a few months and re apply or should I just take a different direction?
