I have caught fragments when shooting steel, not that bad, but not too far off. I knew I was shooting steel too close, and wasn’t shocked when I was hit. I understood and accepted the risk. I finished my drill. Patching myself up was good practice too.
This is dipshittery on display though.
I caught shrapnel to the mouth at a handgun match at the local shooting club. That was fun. Was wondering why the shooting position was so close to the steel. Guess match director was just dumb.
I was fine though. It was like someone literally threw the bullet at me.
You would think after years of tannerite injuries people would actually respect a HIGH EXPLOSIVE!!
That was way to close and a few inches in any direction but his right could have been a jugular/throat cut, lost eye or penitrating chest hole, or even cutting his brachial artery.
This is 💯 why you have ANSI rates eye pro, medical kits on body and in vehicles. Had he cut something like an artery that clock is ticking and fast. Please respect tannerite and follow the recommended ranges for use. This is why we can't have nice things. 🤣
It’s really only meant to be used at longer ranges in 1/2 to 1lb quantities. It’s intended to give a satisfying pop when you hit your mark and tell you that you managed to hit a small target.
Oh shut up..you pussy. You have to carry the whole act through, you were a big tough guy with goofy f****** stupid hair until you got hurt a little bit.. boohoo
