Out of all those I've seen every episode of Breaking Bad, great show BTW. I've been meaning to start Better Call Saul, I have seen the first episode, though. I've seen a few episodes of HIMYM but couldn't really get into it.

Ditto; plus GoT. Since ‘Lost’ and ‘Heros’ I mainly gave up on drama unless I knew it had a satisfactory ending, then of course the zeitgeist moment is passed and that’s that… Plus 24 just seemed like torture porn for inadequates.

I’d put Breaking Bad, Saul and Mad Men in my Top 10 tv shows of all time (alongside Twilight Zone, The Fugitive, The Larry Sanders Show, MST3K, etc.). The writing on those shows is phenomenal.

Breaking Bad. I have the season 1 DVD that I bought second hand but I can't bring myself to watch it. Not sure why. I'd give Dirty Dancing a big miss. I saw it when it came out and thought it was all right. Not sure why people love Grease so much either. Sandy has to change who she is in order to satisfy the man. Why can't he wear a leather jacket while she wears cardigans. Why are clothes so important?

Watched the first episode of the American Office and haven't seen it since. From the memes I see it, just seems like horrible remake of what was a brilliant show. Never read Harry Potter nor seen any of the movies.

Sounds like you're cutting yourself off from a lot of quality entertainment. I'll usually give a movie a try if I can, and an episode or two of a show if I get a chance. You never know, there was stuff I skipped because it sounded uninteresting, then I wound up loving it. (Hunger Games being a good example.) I do usually pass on any kind of reality show, as I never had any use for those. I also haven't seen Breaking Bad, or Big Bang Theory.

You sound like my sister who is so sure she doesn’t like everything she refuses to see anything. Like for example game of thrones. Then one day she actually saw a bit if game of thrones, got curious, started watching, got completely obsessed over it. How do you know if you will like something if you stubbornly refuse to watch any of it? All you are doing is potentially missing out because of preconceived notions which may or may not be true. Dont trust, but still verify! There might be things here in life you might love that you haven’t discovered yet. Dont close yourself off like an old sourpus!

I've never seen any of the Harry Potter movies or read any of the books. Just not into that kind of thing. Obviously, these have more than a cult following. I watched maybe two episodes of Mad Men but never got into that either. I still haven't seen any of The Wire but I actually plan to watch that one day when life permits.

I tend to see more cult movies than blockbusters. They are not cult movies, but I have not seen Dirty Dancing (original) or Top Gun. Dirty Dancing made $214 million, about 50 times its budget. Top Gun was $350-odd million. Most cable series since 2000 I have not seen. I cut the cord around 2002 or 2003 because I just wasn't using it.

Big Bang Theory is a good mention. I haven't seen a single episode of that either. Grease I saw at a drive-in theater back when it first came out, largely because my mother wanted to see it and I was too young to be left at home.
