Fuck. We have a pure Gen X speaker of the House right now, born in 1972. He is absolute garbage to the Nth degree. Gen X politicians are not the answer, man. A lot of "us" are fucking wildly awful in the political arena.
Yeah I’m not talking about religious freak assholes. I’m talking centerist types who actually have younger generations best interest in mind and who are willing to take on big corporations and make them pay for damage and tax the fuck out of them to reduce debt and increase social services for the slave army they have created. Think 44 year old Bernie.
And as far as naming someone… that’s an opportunity. Someone with credentials in a Ross Perot here are the facts way can be built up.
Someone genuine who isn’t in bed with Blackrock.
We know the power of social media so I would think momentum matters. Or ya just pick Biden or trump to run up the deficit like they do because our kids will cover it.

I remember when I first started paying attention to politics watching them wheel 100 year old Strom Thurmond around the Senate floor, which they did right up until he kicked the bucket in 2003. He had the notoriety of being an old “Dixiecrat” that changed parties out of spite when Civil Rights was enacted, his oldest child from an affair on the sly from his black housekeeper. Dude was from a completely different time than the people he served.
They’re either getting strongarmed out by internal factions like Pelosi or having to be carted out on a slab like Feinstein, but it’s finally becoming our turn. I just don’t know if we’ll be able to get there in time; medical technology is keeping them standing a lot longer these days.
Yes and that’s a perfect talking point for a campaign. That there should be term and age limits. Because ya there actually should. The old fucks have way too much power and do t want change.
I’m worried about our kids. From everything I can tell there is no good news for the next 30 years and most people want change. I do t have answers but it’s time for the deck to be shuffled.
