Last time I went, a local shopkeeper took me to his wee Scottish corner, full of Scottish things!

Have lunch at Grainger Market, they’ve got absolutely loads of world food stalls. Korean chicken, dumplings, noodles, pizza slices, all kinds. There’s also a good cheese shop and bakery in there.

As one geordie said to me, just be patient, they might be a little slow but they’ll often get there in the end. Helped me no end when I was working there.
