Luggage Storage at Smithsonian Udvar-Hazy Center?

We’re planning on Visiting Udvar-Hazy on our way out of DC - flight’s out of Dulles. What’s the situation with luggage storage at the Center? They say they have lockers, but don’t mention how many. Should we have a backup plan for our 3 carry-on group? I lived in DC for 7 years and have never been out there. Super excited to go!

Here today, tons of free lockers. Sizes up to fit any carry on, probably even some checked luggage. You’ll be fine

Most of the lickers will fit a smaller carry on. They do have a few that should hold a checked bag-sized suitcase with wheels. They do also let you take suitcases into the exhibit space if you need to.

Worked out great, everyone! We used 2 (free) lockers for three carry-ons and 2 backpacks. There were plenty of lockers, but a surprising number were “out of order.” We had an amazing day looking at all the aircraft. Wright-Patt seems larger, but Uvdar-Hazy has civil aircraft, so bonus! Especially enjoyed the 777 engine display. Those engines are HUGE.
