There are all these stories about Chris Butler, who is merely the priest. Catholics also have priests and are a cult. Most protestant religions are a cult.
Tulsi can choose what religion she wants.

This cult she is member of exists in the town where I live. And one might be religious or not, there is also a healthy way if being religions. SIF, the cult Tulsi is in, us not an organisation where people can practice religion in a healthy way. Everyone who is in this organisation here where I live is deeply mentally ill, you can see it on the people and many of them joined the organisation when they where in a mental health crisis or had suicidal thoughts. The people in the organisation are very dogmatic and if you try to talk about other spiritual paths they try to shut you down and make you feel like and idiot. It is a lot about power and derogation when they talk to you and it is very disturbing. They sing, do vegetarian meal courses and everything seems on the outside to be nice and clean, targeting particularly local students in the city here. But I grew up with a mother being in several cults and I see the red flags immediately. The leader of the local SIF group is very manipulative and many of the members are under psychological control of her. They marry only amongst each other in this group. Sure everyone can chose their beliefs, but belief does not have to be exploitative, controlling and damaging for the souls - which SIF is. And by the way - there are no current pictures of there Hawaiian leader Chris Butler. All pictures that are out there are years old. Many members have never seen him in real person and most members I have spoken to have been isolated from their families. They believe though that their families are just ignorant. So many cult features...

I listened to the ep. Yes the bias is "anti-tulsi" but anyone thinking about contributing money to Tulsi should be aware of the information presented.
If Tulsi gets into position where she has a serious chance at becoming president or vice-president or similar high office, the relationship with Butler will become a point of public scrutiny. Tulsi herself often brings up the relationship between faith in god and public service, implying that a politician's religious orientation is relevant.
I personally find a lot to like about Tulsi's religious/spiritual practices (kirtans are awesome), but the fact that many ex cult members believe Butler has influence over Tulsi's political stances is not something to be dismissed lightly. If true, being under the influence of an out of touch and overly online boomer religious leader might help explain some of Tulsi's more head-scratching twists and turns.

Appreciate the comment, it's a biased piece for sure but that doesn't change the facts. I am not a conspiracy type at all, but I think there's a clear potential for Tulsi to be "sent" off to succeed in politics for the group.
And her campaign spending is suspicious as hell, and the spending by some other politicians linked to Tulsi is as well. A lot of money going to Tulsi-affiliated individuals with not a lot of experience in the field or with few-to-zero other clients. Just all very suspicious and she is not open about it at all.
What's it matter now, she's been smelled out. She was too good to be true from the beginning and the overt contradictions in her life were huge tells. She's anti-war but just got promoted to run a fucking psy-ops unit? Okay...

Islamphobic? Tulsi Gabbard trained Muslim soldiers, earning their respect over time. She probably has more muslim friends then most folks in America.
