I normally have lunch at some time between 12:15-12:45.

As late as I can do that the afternoon feel shorter. Left to my own devices I’d take it at 1. But on days I WFH I take it at 12 (unless I have meetings) so that I can do my toddler’s lunch and hang out with her before her nap and give my husband a break.

Strategic planning. Usually 13:30 so the last sprint to 17:00 won't feel as long. However, gotta have dinner when I get home so leaving lunch too late will spoil that.

WFH, 12-1230 depending on natural stopping points. Laziness in the office dicates a later lunch though, as we're waiting for a sandwich van doing its round.

Previous job (hospitality) was before lunch service started so 11.30. Current job is either 12 or 12.30 depending on who wants to go at what time since we have to have one out of three in the office for the phones

Work in retail. Normally I finish before then since I only do short shifts but if I am doing a full day I eat it whenever they give me my 30 minute break.

I have marked myself out of office in my calendar 12:30-13:00 every day. Anyone that tries to book something in for that time will find that I’m not available. If they put the meeting invite anyway, I jut decline.

If I'm not in meetings I have to fight my instincts to not eat it any time after about 11. I force myself to hang on till quarter to 12 at earliest, which I think is the earliest acceptable lunch time. I've tried lots of things to make myself not want to eat so early. I mean if I had a huge cooked full English I wouldn't but I obviously don't have time to do that on work days. I try porridge, granola or other slow release carbs but it's never really worked. A banana around half 10 tends to help. But yeah - want to eat at 11, force myself to hang on till at least quarter to 12.

Start work at 8am with coffee, eat some fruit for breakfast about 9am with more coffee. Lunch wise it’ll often be 2 or 3 before I’ll get some time for lunch sometimes later. Not good but that’s life.

Somewhere between 12:30 and 1. I like that it puts slightly more of my day before lunch than after, so the afternoon feels short.
