Would you report a vehicle parked in front of your house for not having tax/MOT?

Morning all, My neighbours are generally lovely, and live in a bungalow next door to me with two driveways (one of which is usually empty) and a big front yard. However they regularly park their vans/cars/recently acquired motorised paraphernalia in front of my house, which is currently making it difficult for me to see the road when I'm pulling out of my (tiny) driveway. This isn't the first time they've done it, and to be fair they're usually good but just take the piss now and again. I can't knock their door to tell them as they're not usually in during the daytime. Each time there's a car or van or whatever parked in front of the house I run it through the MOT/Tax checker (because I'm dull like that) and more often than not one or both has expired. Hence the above question. Thank you everyone!

I did exactly this with a neighbor of mine. He would buy old BMWs to restore or whatever. Mainly he would buy one and dump it somewhere on the street, usually there were three at any one time. Strangely never outside his house. All shit boxes with battle damage, all not taxed or MOT'd. Then he started parking his daily drive outside my house. Also he never registered them in his name by the looks of it as would become apparent. I have a toddler I take to childcare every morning and walking with her 20 yards down the road is really annoying and time consuming, I know it isn't "my space" in any way, I don't and wouldn't complain about a person parking there, it's not restricted.. But when he parked up and smiled and waved at my Mrs that was the limit. Piss taking wanker. So I triple reported every car he had parked down the road (DVLA, Council and Clean-upmystreet.com). The result was all three got lifted on the same day, while he was at work. Absolutely made my day watching him walk up and down the road being extremely confused and then angry. Shaking his head and very frustrated. I took the dog out for a walk and asked him if he lost something. He told me someone had stolen his cars. I kept a straight face and said something like "oh no what can you do? I'd call the police mate if I were you.... Be a piss taking wanker if you like, however perhaps it's not always the best course of action to be a blatant piss taking wanker.

How long did it take from the point you reported it to DVLA and when they seized the vehicles? Also how do you report to your council, I can't figure that out.
