I watched long enough to hear the announcer say "You can boogie with Joann Worley" before turning it off.
As a side note, my family used to watch CHiPS every Sunday night while we ate homemade pizza. We'd always watch for whatever we called the "weekly pile up" - there was always a scene where there was a major multicar accident. It's a good memory.
This reminds me of the time I got so mad because I broke my arm the afternoon before the Dukes of Hazzard Demolition Derby special episode, and they had to put me under to set my arm, so I missed it.
You know what I sort of miss? Just turning on the TV and letting it run... We had between 6 and 12 channels and on a that night we would just turn it on at 6 and then off at 10.
Watching TV now involves making a decision on what specifically you want to watch. I know you can put Netflix on shuffle but knowing I have a choice, I'll click around until I find a show. I guess it's just nostalgia (because we sat through some truly shitty TV back then) but I want less options.
