Three songs that didn’t seem like mtv songs featuring white dudes talking the lyrics all hit at once during this period. This, nada surf “popular” and the butthole surfers “pepper”. It seemed so arbitrary what bands were chosen to have the machine behind them back then.
Great song. It's on one of my recent playlists (I make a Sountrack for every year, doesn't necessarily have to be music from that year), Soundtrack 2019. The new memories I have of it are of life right before the pandemic.
