What low key ways do you notice you are getting old?

Most designers put out more low key stuff and good quality basics without massive logos everywhere. So it’s sort of worth it for some designer stuff for better fits and materials etc if the cost isn’t an issue. The trashy ott stuff like this is almost like a social test. Nobody who is actually wealthy really dresses like this in my experience, because if you can actually afford anything you want, why would you want to dress like this? It’s usually people who come from poorer background who _desperately_ want other people to think they have money who buy this stuff, and don’t realise they’re basically signalling to people who do that they probably actually don’t. My net worth is 7 figures and nobody I know ever dresses like this. When I hang with some extended family and their friends/friends of friends, so very different social circles, I’m usually the worst dressed which I always find amusing, and it’s the only time I ever see stuff like this really. Like people going on about gold Gucci slippers and putting selfies of them wearing this stuff all over social media, when this is their big purchase for the month and they’re struggling with credit card debt etc. It’s all just a bit sad really.
