What thankless things do you do?

It's so insane how care work is probably the most thankless job around. It is literally the difference between the service user maintaining a good quality of life when they are unable to care for themself and being left to fend for themselves and die with indignity. I was pretty young when I did care work before my nursing training and I could barely handle all of the moral injury, particularly with the level of maturity/lack of resilience I possessed at the time. Constant assaults on my work ethic and being made to feel incompetent and like I wasn't working hard enough because I couldn't stick to my rigid schedule perfectly because sometimes caring for vulnerable people doesn't fit into a neat 15 minute box. I was constantly sweating buckets literally running to call buzzers so that the elderly patients in my charge wouldn't be left waiting if they needed something in addition to my task list - from 07:00 to \~10:00-11:00 there were fifteen-minute blocks allocated to different residents with no flexibility in that. Yet there were no float carers/nurses available to answer the buzzers and so we were also expected to do that? Except we couldn't prioritise that over our schedule. Except what if a patient had had diarrhoea and needed cleaning up to prevent pressure damage? But stick to the schedule! Make it make sense. We only had 30 minutes of unallotted time in the whole day after our morning break and if we were late to take said break at the exact specified time they wouldn't let us extend the end time of the break to take all of our (unpaid) time. Whenever I was allocated to the patient in room 111 I always knew I wouldn't be getting more than a 5 minute morning break because she only had 30 minutes allocated for her morning routine but it easily took 20 just to get her out of bed and into the bathroom, let alone wash and dress her and getting her into her chair and getting her breakfast. I then had a double to do afterward and would always get chewed out for being so late, as if I could help how much the previous patient overran, particularly when she overran every single day. I constantly went to the senior nursing staff to express my concerns over how she shouldn't be mobilising with the agony she was in and how I was basically having to carry her only for this to be ignored. I went back for a bank shift over the Christmas holidays after being away for a few months only to have a new nurse come in while I was walking her to the bathroom and admonishing me for mobilising her. Turns out this resident had finally been made a hoist transfer only and I didn't even know because they wouldn't let carers into morning handover, nobody had updated me, and her mobility was literally no different to how it had been when we were struggle walking for years prior to my leaving. It was impossible to 'win'. Management always shitting on you and claiming everything is your own fault. The care industry needs a top-to-bottom overhaul before absolutely nobody is willing to do it anymore.
