Recently, the City of Dallas put a monument in Martyrs Park. I haven't seen an announcement yet that it has been done but it is there now.

Awesome! I took a tour with Remembering Black Dallas last summer when this was still in talks with the parks department. Will have to go see it in person!
I can't say for 100% certainty but it looked like one to me. The text on the wall had a heading that said "Shadow Lines," so I took that to be confirmation that it was a sundial.
