LGBT+ in MK?

I'm considering a job offer in Milton Keynes, but am a bit hesitant as I was originally thinking of London due to London's reputation as having a lot of queer/leftist events and spaces. Is there a similar vibe in Milton Keynes? What would it be like being visibly transgender in Milton Keynes?

am visibly trans, friends with visibly trans ppl, it’s honestly fine here
seconding the recommendation for q:alliance, they do a lot of in-person events which are free if you like a sense of community

I was planning to join once i move back after university, cut off all my friends from college after moving to uni due to their transphobia when i was struggling with my identity. I was hoping to meet new people once i come back

We need more gay spaces in Milton Keynes, we need at least one gay bar.

I wish we had at least one gay bar (pink punters doesn’t really count as it’s a nightclub)

I’m 30, live nearby, go to saunas in London sometimes, what would be appreciated is nights where young people are prioritised as in cheaper entry or max age 40 or something like that
