Are there any new streets being named Coronation St/Road/Place this month?

Obviously there is already a famous Coronation Street. I just wondered if any town planners are taking inspiration from Charles’ coronation this month, and naming new areas Coronation Place or similar?

I think this is a genuinely interesting question. There are quite a lot of Coronation Streets dotted round the country and at one point Corrie did actually feature them (I presume an advertiser did) on a random basis. I dunno if they were all named/renamed in 1953 or if they refer even to older coronations. I think the Zeitgeist has changed a bit though; if they are new areas (streets in new build developments), it would be less obvious than in 1953 that buyers would kind of feel attracted to such a name, and I suspect fewer new Coronation Streets will happen than in previous times.

In the show background history, the street got it's name as it was being built at the same time as King Edward's coronation in 1902

Yes I agree that new-build developments are less likely to be given a Coronation-themed street name. I hadn’t thought about streets being renamed.

Street is not so common these days, I predict a few developers will choose Coronation Gardens, Coronation Mews or similar. Street names have to be approved by the council as I understand it. Maybe we’ll get the odd King Charles Way or Carolean House. There’s an opportunity the name the FA Cup after him though, and that’s unmissable.
