What's something you love that you think most people your age don't know about?

A long time ago in 1978 or 79, I went to a weird "festival" in the old Leeds Bus Station with 3 mates. We were big Hawkwind fans, they were headlining the second night. It was an utterly bizarre experience, with hundreds of hard rock fans on one side, hundreds of punks on the other side of the vast concrete hall that was the venue. I cannot recall the name of the event, but it featured a bunch of established rock bands, a lot of relatively new punk bands and some really new "electronic" bands. The Fall and Monochrome Set were the standouts I recall - but overshadowed by the unexpected appearance of PiL headlining the first night. I'll never forget the feeling of Jah Wobble's bass vibrating the legs of my flared jeans! In a pause between songs, one of the rockers shouted: "Lydon! You're Rotten!" (PiL, formerly known as the Sex Pistols had just emerged, lead singer Johnny Rotten had metamorphosed into John Lydon) and the whole place just held its breath as the rockers and the punks stared hard at each other ... burst of obscenity from the band as they launched into the next number and nobody died. Standout the second day was a brand new Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark: two guys and Oliver the multi-track tape deck and a proper stage show with back projected film and images. Groundbreaking at that time. Hawkwind were, of course, outstanding 😁 We all slept on the concrete floor when the bands finished at about 3am, in between the towering piles of beer cans around the place. Never been to a more bizarre event since.
