Short men, where on earth (in the UK) do you buy jeans that fit?

Our even chinos/pants? Bonus points for skinny jeans because I will never let them go.

Skinny jeans - legend London, the most comfortable pair I've owned and you can order by waist and leg length

Amazon do a good range of jeans. I am a 27” inside leg and have found (finally!) that Amazon is a good source for jeans that actually fit me.

I find it's best to buy them too long then take a bunch to a seamstress and have them taken up and properly hemmed. While you're doing that, buy two or three nicer than you would usually buy shirts and ask to have them fitted. They will adjust the shirt so it's much more flattering, ideal for weddings etc.

This might be the way alright. Funny enough I was at a wedding recently and the only shirt I had that fit my top half had sleeves that were too long for my little arms, so thats an idea too. Fuck my short limbs.

Charles Tyrwhitt offer shirts down to 32" arm length as standard or can be customised even shorter.

If you can't find a seamstress then ask in your dry cleaner, they often have a service.

Spoke London do jeans and chinos down to a 28" inside leg with 3 different thigh fits. Good quality but pricey, discount codes can be easily found.

My other half has lost a few inches in height due to exploding discs. I think he's somewhere around 5ft 5.5 now. He's got some nice pairs that needed no alterations from Next and Pretty Green. The PG were via ebay, so have a search on there for bargains.

Buy a cheap sewing machine and tailor them yourself. If you don't know how to sew it will take you an hour of practice to get the hang of it - then you are set for life. It takes about 15mins to shorten a pair of jeans.

ASOS. They also do skinny chinos which are very good.

I hit up next for the 36/30 combo, but they often come up a bit shorter after a couple washes I found the 34/30 works for the “slim fit” look, the waist is nice and stretchy

If you live near a Slaters - free alterations. They were surprised I was happy to pay £8 postage when I bought two trousers and a pair of jeans last time I was in Manchester city centre.

I'm 5' 2", lucky enough to have a 30" inside leg and not too big of a waist though so generally can get a pair of jeans anywhere, oddly I've found the best place for choice has been supermarkets, have also lasted longer than the pairs I've gotten from places like River Island

Jealous of your 30 leg, I'm taller but 28in which is the root of my problems 😂

Phantom_Dave@reddit

tbf, I see plenty of 28" legs in supermarkets, main limit is waist, seems to get sparse above a 34" one

If you try www.buy-jeans.net they do custom leg lengths. Bought some 501's and Wranglers from them in the past.

Uniqlo. Depending on the store, they do free length fitting on the same day. Quality-wise, they're good stuff and only started fraying about 3 years in.

I didn't know that actually, Uniqlo is great so that vould be v useful!

I'm 5'6" and quite slim with spindly little legs. I'm a 30/30 size when it comes to jeans. I used to have a few pairs of Levis but wasn't overly fussed by them. Then I bought a pair of £10 skinny jeans from Primark for work (occasional visits to building sites) and they're absolutely spot on. Had a few pairs and they all fit really well. It's all I wear now. Only downside is after a while they're prone to tearing right under the arse. But nothing that can't be repaired with a bit of thread and 5 minutes of your time

I'm same height and (usually) slim also, would kill for 30in legs haha I'm a 28 in the legs. So far I've literally only found River Island to stock perfect fits for me. I see people my height all the time, we're not abnormally tiny, so it's amazing how hards jeans shopping is.

M&S do 27 inch leg jeans, think they're available in the skinnys definitely in the slims, Uniqlo also offer an alteration service on their trousers as well as Levi's mentioned above

That's certainly worth a look, its the length is the issue! I'm literally just 1inch of leg away from a world of jeans!!

H&M and Uniqlo tend to suit my size (5'8" - 28" or 30" waist). Zara can also be good for slim fit / smaller sizes

As a 5'9" woman I struggle to find jeans long enough, but in the men's department that's considered short?! Maybe I should just buy men's jeans!
